The Audacity to Be Heard

Rooted in loop

Built on a legacy. Driven by voices today.

Inspired by the courage and legacy of Ida B. Wells and the Alpha Suffrage Club, The Audacity To Be Heard is a movement dedicated to amplifying the voices of women who organize, advocate, and lead in pursuit of equity and justice.

By honoring those who came before us and uplifting those shaping the future, we create space for voices that move communities forward.

This Is What It Looks Like When Voices Rise

Ida B. Wells Legacy Event · 2026

On March 1, women leaders, advocates, and community members came together to honor Ida B. Wells—and continue the work she started.

This is what it looks like when legacy becomes action.

  • Alpha Suffrage Club

Continuing the legacy of Ida B. Wells, the Alpha Suffrage Club uplifts Black women’s leadership through civic engagement, community voice, and collective action.

  • Sister March

A powerful moment of solidarity and collective action, Sister March reflects the foundation this movement continues to build upon.

  • Protest To The Polls

This initiative highlights the power of civic leadership and reminds us that our voices matter—not only in protest, but in policy, participation, and the ballot box.

What’s Next for Audacity To Be Heard

What began through gatherings is growing into an ongoing space for connection and collective action.

Beginning this summer, Audacity To Be Heard will continue beyond annual moments through monthly gatherings, community conversations, and the upcoming Audacity To Be Heard podcast.

We’re creating space for women, advocates, leaders, and community members to gather, reflect, share stories, and build together.

This is how the movement continues.
